COVID19 affects also the charter industry

24 Mar 2020

The coronavirus outbreak is this era’s challenge that humanity has to face. The lives of hundreds of thousands of people are at risk and the global economy is negatively affected. Countries and their citizens are giving their fight to resist the violent appearance of the COVID19 and restrict the expansion of this pandemia by staying at home and  closing the borders. Industries suffer greatly from this situation. Tourism and the charter sector are two of these. Specifically, the charter sector and the nautical tourism industry in the Mediterranean have completely stopped their activities due to the measures undertaken because of COVID19. Boat shows and any event related to the sector are currently cancelled.

Citizens following the measures that each country sets for them with self and social consciousness will probably help humanity come out of this pandemia a bit faster, with less deaths and eventually free to sail out in the endless blue.
